Session Americana in Groton

Session Americana is an American folk collective formed in the Boston area in 2003. Its music draws on Americana, country and roots rock, and its catalog includes the albums Love and Dirt and Pack Up the Circus. The group began with a weekly residency at Toad in Cambridge, where the musicians performed seated around a small table. Session Americana later carried that ensemble format on tours through North America and Europe, while intimate listening rooms remained central to its live work, including Club Passim.
