Shadow of Intent in Paris

Shadow of Intent is an American symphonic deathcore band formed in Connecticut by vocalist Ben Duerr and guitarist Chris Wiseman. Initially conceived as a studio project inspired by the Halo games, the group became known through albums including Primordial, Reclaimer, Melancholy and Elegy, as well as songs such as “The Heretic Prevails” and “Barren and Breathless Macrocosm.” Shadow of Intent joined Cannibal Corpse’s 2022 North American tour, which also featured Whitechapel and Revocation. Later that year, the band led The Black Opera Across North America tour supported by Enterprise Earth, Inferi and Wormhole.

Aborted are a Belgian death metal band formed in Waregem in 1995 by vocalist Sven de Caluwé. Their tightly played brutal death metal and grindcore attack is captured on albums including Engineering the Dead, Goremageddon: The Saw and the Carnage Done, Global Flatline and Retrogore. Aborted have performed at Graspop Metal Meeting and Hellfest, followed by further festival appearances at Wacken Open Air and Maryland Deathfest. In 2023, the Hell Over Europe 4 tour took them through European clubs with The Acacia Strain, Benighted and Fleddy Melculy. The group presents its material as a full-band metal set fronted by Sven de Caluwé.
