Shakey Graves in San Francisco

Shakey Graves is the stage name of American singer-songwriter Alejandro Rose-Garcia, who was born in Austin in 1987. His music draws on lo-fi folk, Americana and rock, and he became known through the album Roll the Bones and songs including “Dearly Departed” and “Tomorrow.” Shakey Graves began performing as a one-man band, accompanying his guitar and vocals with percussion built around a modified suitcase. He later incorporated a full band while retaining solo passages in his concerts. His 2015 Newport Folk Festival set included Esmé Patterson, his duet partner on “Dearly Departed,” and he subsequently headlined Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Wild Pink is an American indie-rock band formed in Brooklyn in 2015 and led by singer, guitarist and songwriter John Ross. Its catalogue pairs soft-rock and Americana textures with detailed songwriting, spanning the self-titled debut, Yolk in the Fur, A Billion Little Lights and ILYSM. Wild Pink performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in 2021 and later toured behind A Billion Little Lights. In 2022, the band took ILYSM on the road and opened North American dates for The War on Drugs. The concerts feature a full band built around the guitar and vocals of John Ross.
