Shakra is a Swiss hard-rock band formed in 1997. The group plays guitar-led melodic hard rock with a heavy-metal edge and is known for albums including Rising, Everest and High Noon. Early tours took Shakra on the road with Great White and Uriah Heep, and the band later supported Iron Maiden. The concert DVD My Life, My World documented its full-band performance at the Z7 club in Pratteln.
