Shaun Cassidy in North Tonawanda

Shaun Cassidy is an American singer, actor and television producer, born in Los Angeles in 1958. He became a 1970s teen-pop star through recordings including “Da Doo Ron Ron,” “That’s Rock ’n’ Roll” and “Hey Deanie,” as well as the albums Shaun Cassidy and Born Late. The Magic of a Midnight Sky brought him back to concert performance after a long period focused chiefly on writing and producing television. The autobiographical theatre show combined songs from his recording career with stories about his family and early fame; he later developed another music-and-storytelling production, The Road to Us.
