SHAZNA is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 1993, fronted by vocalist Izam. The band became known for its androgynous image and melodic pop-rock, particularly the singles “Melty Love,” “Sumire September Love” and “Piece of Love,” as well as the album Gold Sun and Silver Moon. During its first major-label period, the band moved into large concert halls and performed at Nippon Budokan. SHAZNA returned to live activity following reunions in 2006 and 2017, again led onstage by Izam.
