Sheer Terror in Saint Albans City

Sheer Terror is an American hardcore punk band formed in New York City in 1984. Led by vocalist Paul Bearer, the group became known for caustic lyrics and a heavy New York hardcore sound on releases including Just Can’t Hate Enough, Ugly and Proud and Thanks Fer Nuthin’. A 1989 performance at CBGB was later issued as a live recording. After disbanding, the group reunited for two shows at the club in 2004 and resumed playing clubs and hardcore festivals in the United States and Europe, led by Paul Bearer.

Blossoms are an English indie-pop band formed in Stockport in 2013. Their self-titled debut album topped the UK Albums Chart and introduced songs including “Charlemagne” and “Blown Rose”; later releases include Cool Like You, Foolish Loving Spaces and Ribbon Around the Bomb, alongside the single “Your Girlfriend.” In 2019, the band headlined Edgeley Park for an outdoor hometown concert. Their 2022 Ribbon Around the Bomb tour crossed the UK, and the following year they headlined Wythenshawe Park, where Inhaler and Shed Seven performed earlier that day. London has hosted repeated headline dates by Blossoms, and the band also returns to Glasgow on its UK tours.
