About Shutdown
Shutdown is an American hardcore punk band formed in Brooklyn in 1994. Associated with the New York hardcore and straight-edge scenes, the group is known for the albums Against All Odds and Few and Far Between.
Shutdown played CBGB during the 1990s and toured in the United States and Europe as its records reached audiences beyond its home scene. Following a hiatus, reunion appearances brought the band back to events including the Black N' Blue Bowl in New York.
