Sid Sriram in New York

Sid Sriram is an Indian-American singer, songwriter and Carnatic musician, born in Chennai and raised in California’s Bay Area. He became known as a playback singer in Tamil and Telugu cinema through songs including “Adiye” from Kadal, “Thalli Pogathey” from Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada and “Samajavaragamana” from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. His solo albums Entropy and Sidharth explore R&B, ambient pop and Carnatic vocal writing. In 2023, he performed an NPR Tiny Desk concert with a live ensemble, presenting original material in the series’ compact office setting. The following year, he made his debut with a band at Coachella.
