Signs of the Swarm is an American deathcore band formed in Pittsburgh in 2014. Their music centers on guttural vocals, downtuned riffs and slamming breakdowns, heard across albums including Disfigurement of Existence, Absolvere and Amongst the Low & Empty. “Cesspool of Ignorance” and “Amongst the Low & Empty” are among their best-known tracks. In 2022, Signs of the Swarm joined the Chaos & Carnage tour alongside Suicide Silence, Carnifex and Lorna Shore. They marked their tenth anniversary in 2024 by leading the Decade of the Swarm tour across North America.
Oceans Ate Alaska are an English progressive metalcore band formed in Birmingham in 2010. Their music is built on abrupt rhythmic changes, heavy breakdowns, melodic passages and a mix of screamed and clean vocals. The albums Lost Isles, Hikari and Disparity, together with songs including “Vultures and Sharks,” “Hansha” and “Metamorph,” established their catalogue. In 2016, the band carried that material across North America on the Vans Warped Tour. Following the release of Hikari, they played headline club dates in the UK and Europe, including shows in their home city of Birmingham.
