Silbermond is a German pop-rock band from Bautzen that has performed under its present name since 2002. Fronted by Stefanie Kloß, the group became known through songs including “Durch die Nacht,” “Symphonie,” “Das Beste” and “Leichtes Gepäck,” as well as the albums Verschwende deine Zeit and Laut gedacht. In 2005, Silbermond performed at Live 8 in Berlin while touring behind Verschwende deine Zeit. Later headline runs included the Himmel auf Tour and Leichtes Gepäck Tour, while festival appearances included Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
