Silent Sanctuary in Pasay

Silent Sanctuary are a Filipino rock band formed in Metro Manila in 2001. Their OPM sound pairs alternative rock with violin and cello, a combination heard on songs including “Rebound,” “Ikaw Lamang,” “Kundiman,” “Sa'yo” and “14.” Their catalog also includes the albums Fuchsiang Pag-ibig and Mistaken for Granted. Silent Sanctuary have performed at Rakrakan Festival, bringing their string-led arrangements into a large multi-band setting. Their concert lineup places violin and cello beside vocals, guitars, bass and drums. The band has used the same lineup at the University of the Philippines’ UP Fair.
