Silvestre Dangond in Sugar Land

Silvestre Dangond is a Colombian vallenato singer, born in Urumita in 1980. He is known for accordion-led songs shaped by contemporary Latin pop, including “Niégame tres veces,” “Materialista” and “Cásate conmigo,” as well as the albums La 9a Batalla, Sigo Invicto and Gente Valiente. In 2013, he presented La 9a Batalla at Parque de la Leyenda Vallenata in Valledupar. He later toured theatres and arenas in the United States on the Gente Valiente Tour, then returned for another North American itinerary on the Las Locuras Mías Tour.
