Simple Kid is the stage name of Irish singer-songwriter Ciaran McFeely, who comes from Cork and writes lo-fi indie rock and folk songs built around guitar, programmed beats and glam-rock touches. He became known through the albums 1 and 2 and songs including “Truck On,” “Staring at the Sun” and “Serotonin.”

Simple Kid toured behind 1 and 2 as a solo performer, singing and playing guitar over homemade backing tracks played from a cassette deck. He also performed at Glastonbury Festival.
