SKE48 in Hong Kong

SKE48 is a Japanese female idol group formed in Nagoya in 2008 as the first sister group of AKB48. Producer Yasushi Akimoto built the group around multiple teams and a dedicated theatre in the Sakae district. Its best-known singles include “Banzai Venus,” “Kataomoi Finally,” “Choco no Dorei” and “Utsukushii Inazuma.” SKE48 began holding team-based performances at SKE48 Theater in 2008, establishing theatre shows as the core of its live work. The group later moved into larger local concert venues, including Nippon Gaishi Hall, before presenting a two-day concert at Nagoya Dome in 2014.
