About Skeletal Family
Skeletal Family are an English gothic rock and post-punk band formed in Keighley, West Yorkshire, in 1982. Their early recordings featured vocalist Anne-Marie Hurst, and the albums Burning Oil and Futile Combat established a catalogue that includes “Promised Land,” “So Sure” and “The Wind Blows.”
In 1984, Skeletal Family toured Britain supporting The Sisters of Mercy. After reforming in the early 2000s, they performed at Whitby Gothic Weekend and Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
