About Skids
Skids are a Scottish punk and new wave band formed in 1977 by Richard Jobson, Stuart Adamson, William Simpson and Tom Kellichan. Their debut album, Scared to Dance, included the UK Top 10 single “Into the Valley”; other early albums include Days in Europa, The Absolute Game and Joy.
In 2007, the band reunited for two concerts in Dunfermline and an appearance at T in the Park, marking its 30th anniversary and paying tribute to Adamson. A 40th-anniversary UK tour followed in 2017 and included a headline performance at Rebellion Festival.
