Artist
Skydiggers are a Canadian roots-rock band formed in Toronto in 1987 by singer-songwriters Andy Maize and Josh Finlayson. Their music draws on rock, folk and country, and their best-known recordings include “I Will Give You Everything,” “A Penny More” and the albums Restless and Just Over This Mountain. In 1987, Skydiggers founded the Hi & Dri Club at the Spadina Hotel’s Cabana Room, where they performed weekly and hosted other musicians. The band later established annual Christmas concerts, playing full-band sets drawn from across its catalogue at the Horseshoe Tavern.
