Slash & Myles Kennedy in Budapest

Slash is a British-American guitarist, born Saul Hudson in London in 1965. He is best known as the lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and for guitar parts on songs including “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle” and “November Rain.” His other major projects include Slash’s Snakepit, Velvet Revolver and the solo group billed as Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Slash spent 1991 to 1993 performing on the Use Your Illusion Tour, then toured with Velvet Revolver after the release of Contraband. His later band mounted the Apocalyptic Love World Tour, World on Fire Tour and Living the Dream Tour. In 2024 he launched the blues-focused S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival. His solo concerts use a full rock-band lineup, led by his guitar and Myles Kennedy’s vocals. Sets have included material from his solo records, Slash’s Snakepit, Velvet Revolver and Guns N’ Roses.

Myles Kennedy is an American rock singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in 1969 and raised in Spokane, Washington. He is the lead vocalist of Alter Bridge and the singer in Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators; his recordings include Alter Bridge songs such as “Blackbird” and “Addicted to Pain.” His solo albums Year of the Tiger and The Ides of March draw on hard rock, blues and acoustic folk. The Year of the Tiger Tour presented his first solo album in acoustic-led theatre and club shows in 2018. He later took The Ides of March on the road with a rock-band lineup, while The Art of Letting Go Tour again featured Myles Kennedy with a touring band.
