SLIFT is a French psychedelic rock trio formed in Toulouse in 2016. Their heavy space-rock sound is represented by the albums La Planète Inexplorée, UMMON and ILION, as well as songs including “Ummon” and “Ilion.” In 2019, SLIFT recorded a KEXP session at Les Trans Musicales in Rennes, performing an extended set that included “It’s Coming…” and “Thousand Helmets of Gold.” Touring behind UMMON later took the trio to Europe and North America, including Roadburn Festival in Tilburg and Levitation in Austin. The live lineup is the three-piece heard on the records: Jean Fossat sings and plays guitar, Rémi Fossat plays bass, and Canek Flores plays drums.
