Slipknot are an American metal band formed in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1995. Their percussion-heavy sound, masked appearance and albums Slipknot and Iowa established the group’s identity; their best-known songs include “Wait and Bleed,” “Duality” and “Psychosocial.” Slipknot joined Ozzfest in 1999 and soon began touring internationally. Their 2002 performance at London Docklands Arena was filmed for the concert release Disasterpieces, and they later played arenas and festivals on the All Hope Is Gone World Tour. Slipknot perform as a masked full band centered on vocals, guitars, bass and drums, expanded by additional percussion, samples and turntables. Masks and coordinated stage clothing have remained central to the group’s concert presentation through successive lineup changes. They founded the recurring Knotfest event in 2012 and headlined Download Festival on multiple editions. Their festival history also included repeated appearances at Rock am Ring.
Bring Me The Horizon are a British rock and metal band formed in Sheffield in 2004. Early releases such as Count Your Blessings drew on deathcore, while Sempiternal, That’s the Spirit and amo expanded their sound through alternative rock and electronic music. Their best-known songs include “Can You Feel My Heart,” “Drown” and “Throne.” Bring Me The Horizon headlined Wembley Arena in 2014. Two years later, they performed at the Royal Albert Hall with the Parallax Orchestra in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, and in 2022 they headlined the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Bring Me The Horizon have also headlined The O2 in London and AO Arena in Manchester.
