Slothrust is an American alternative-rock band formed in Boston in 2010 and led by singer and guitarist Leah Wellbaum. The group plays alternative rock informed by grunge and blues, and is known for albums including Of Course You Do, Everyone Else, The Pact and Parallel Timeline. Its song “7:30 AM” served as the opening theme for the television series You’re the Worst. In 2018, Slothrust performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago and toured behind The Pact. Weakened Friends opened the 2022 Parallel Timeline Tour, which took Slothrust through North American clubs and theatres.
The Velveteers are an American rock trio from Boulder, Colorado, led by guitarist and vocalist Demi Demitro with drummers Baby Potters and Jonny Fig. Their garage-heavy sound and twin-drummer lineup frame the albums Nightmare Daydream and A Million Knives, both produced by Dan Auerbach. The Velveteers toured clubs in the United States and Europe before moving into arena support dates. Their concert lineup places Demitro in front of two drummers, a format they have taken on the road opening for Guns N’ Roses and The Smashing Pumpkins.
