Artists
Snail Mail is an American indie-rock project formed in 2015 by singer, songwriter and guitarist Lindsey Jordan, who grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland. The early EP Habit introduced her guitar-led songwriting, followed by the albums Lush and Valentine. “Pristine,” “Heat Wave,” “Valentine” and “Ben Franklin” are among the project’s best-known songs. Snail Mail played Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2018 while touring behind Lush. A tour supporting Valentine was postponed when Jordan underwent vocal-cord surgery, then began in 2022 and brought the full band to theatres and festivals including Coachella and Primavera Sound.
Soccer Mommy is the indie-rock project of American singer-songwriter Sophie Allison, who grew up in Nashville and began releasing home-recorded songs under the name in 2015. Her albums include Clean, Color Theory, Sometimes, Forever and Evergreen; songs such as “Your Dog,” “Circle the Drain” and “Shotgun” brought her intimate writing and guitar-led sound to a wider audience. On Kacey Musgraves’ Oh, What a World: Tour II, Soccer Mommy played support dates in 2019. The Touring, Forever tour followed Sometimes, Forever in 2022 and took her full band through North America and Europe. Festival appearances have included Coachella and Glastonbury.
