Soap&Skin in Leipzig

Soap&Skin is the experimental art-pop project of Austrian singer, composer and actor Anja Plaschg, who was born in 1990. Piano, electronics and dark orchestral textures shape albums including Lovetune for Vacuum, Narrow and From Gas to Solid / you are my friend. Her best-known recordings include “Me and the Devil,” “Vater” and “Marche Funèbre.” Soap&Skin took songs from Lovetune for Vacuum into European theatres and festivals, later adding material from Narrow and From Gas to Solid / you are my friend. Her concerts center on Plaschg’s voice, piano and electronics, sometimes expanded by an instrumental ensemble. She has performed at Primavera Sound in Barcelona and at Sónar.
