About Soldier Field
Soldier Field is a large outdoor stadium on the lakefront in downtown Chicago, with a capacity of around 63,500 for major events. It is best known as the longtime home of Chicago’s professional football team and as one of the city’s most prominent venues for large scale concerts and special sporting events.
The stadium sits in the Museum Campus area south of the Loop, close to Lake Michigan and several of Chicago’s major attractions. Alongside American football it regularly hosts high profile touring artists, international soccer friendlies and one off spectaculars that draw fans from across the Midwest.
