About sombr
sombr is the recording name of American singer-songwriter and producer Shane Boose, who began making music in New York City as a teenager. He writes alternative pop and indie rock, and is known for the EP In Another Life and the singles “Back to Friends” and “Undressed.”
In 2025, he opened for Nessa Barrett on the Aftercare World Tour, performing in theatres across North America. He later brought his live-band set to Governors Ball.
