Sonique is a British singer and DJ, born Sonia Clarke in London in 1965. She first recorded as a solo vocalist and later joined S’Express before establishing her own dance-pop and house sound. Her best-known songs include “It Feels So Good” and “Sky,” both featured on the album Hear My Cry.

Mark Moore taught Sonique to DJ after her time in S’Express, and she spent several years accompanying him and Judge Jules to gigs while developing her own sets. By the late 1990s, she was a resident DJ at Manumission, performing in the club rooms of Ibiza.
