Sophie Zelmani in Aalborg

Sophie Zelmani is a Swedish singer-songwriter, born in Stockholm in 1972, whose music is built around acoustic pop, soft rock and an understated vocal style. Her self-titled 1995 debut introduced songs including “Always You,” while later releases such as Precious Burden and “Going Home” became central to her catalogue. After producing her debut, guitarist Lars Halapi became a long-term musical partner and has accompanied her in concert. Sophie Zelmani has toured theatres and concert halls in Germany and Switzerland, and her live work has also taken her to China.
