Artist
Southall is an American band formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, around singer and songwriter Read Southall. Formerly billed as Read Southall Band, the group plays Southern rock and Red Dirt country; its best-known songs include “Why,” “Clean Slate” and “Gunshy,” while its albums include Borrowed Time, For the Birds and Southall. The live album Live at Tower Theatre documents the band’s full-group performance at the Oklahoma City venue. Southall has also appeared at Oklahoma festivals including Born & Raised in Pryor and Rocklahoma.
