Spafford in Los Angeles

Spafford is an American jam band formed in Prescott, Arizona, in 2009. Its music draws on psychedelic rock, funk and extended improvisation; “Electric Taco Stand,” “Backdoor Funk” and “Leave the Light On” are among its established songs, while its releases include the albums Spafford and For Amusement Only. During the 2010s, Spafford toured widely across the United States and performed at Bonnaroo, The Peach Music Festival and Summer Camp Music Festival. The band’s concerts commonly feature two sets and long improvisational passages, and later headline runs included Brooklyn Bowl in New York and Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver.
