Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are an American punk-rock cover band formed in San Francisco in 1995. The group operates as a supergroup with a changing lineup, recasting familiar songs as fast punk arrangements. Its themed catalog includes Have a Ball, the show-tunes collection Are a Drag and the R&B-focused Take a Break. In 2004, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes performed at an actual bar mitzvah and released the recording as the live album Ruin Jonny's Bar Mitzvah. Beyond that performance, the band has toured with a full electric lineup and appeared at the Vans Warped Tour, Punk Rock Bowling and Riot Fest.
