Artists
Squeeze are a British rock and pop band formed in Deptford, London, in 1974 by songwriters Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook. Their new wave and power-pop catalogue includes “Cool for Cats,” “Up the Junction,” “Tempted” and “Labelled with Love,” as well as the albums Argybargy and East Side Story. Squeeze reunited in 1985 and resumed touring after their first breakup; following another split, Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook brought the band back in 2007. The re-formed group performed on Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage in 2016, and in 2021 Squeeze toured North America as the opening act for Hall & Oates.
Adam Ant is an English singer and songwriter, born Stuart Goddard in London in 1954. He first became known as the frontman of Adam and the Ants, whose new wave and post-punk records included “Kings of the Wild Frontier,” “Stand and Deliver” and “Prince Charming.” His solo career produced “Goody Two Shoes” and the album Friend or Foe. At Live Aid in 1985, he performed “Vive Le Rock” at Wembley Stadium. He returned to sustained touring with the BlueBlack Hussar Tour in 2013, supporting Adam Ant Is the BlueBlack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner’s Daughter. In 2016 he toured Kings of the Wild Frontier as a complete album performance, including a London concert at the Roundhouse.
