Squirrel Flower in Cleveland Heights

Squirrel Flower is the recording name of American singer-songwriter Ella Williams, who grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts. She writes indie rock and folk songs that range from spare guitar pieces to heavier full-band arrangements, and is known for the albums I Was Born Swimming, Planet (i) and Tomorrow’s Fire, as well as songs including “Red Shoulder” and “Alley Light.” Squirrel Flower played Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in 2021 while touring around Planet (i). She joined Soccer Mommy for North American dates in 2022, then returned to headline club shows behind Tomorrow’s Fire in cities including Chicago and London.
