Steep Canyon Rangers in Orinda

Steep Canyon Rangers are an American bluegrass band formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, in 2000. Their catalogue includes the Grammy-winning album Nobody Knows You, while their long association with actor and banjo player Steve Martin produced records such as Rare Bird Alert and The Long-Awaited Album. In 2006, the band helped establish the Mountain Song Festival in Brevard. Their subsequent touring partnership with Martin brought them to theatres, festivals and concert halls, including Bonnaroo and Carnegie Hall.
