Steiner & Madlaina are a Swiss indie-pop duo formed by Nora Steiner and Madlaina Pollina in Zurich. They write in German, pairing guitar-led pop and rock with lyrics about relationships, gender roles and politics. Their albums include Cheers, Wünsch mir Glück and Risiko. Following Cheers, the duo took their songs into clubs and theatres across Switzerland, Germany and Austria, performing with an expanded live band. Their festival appearances have included the Gurtenfestival in Bern and OpenAir St. Gallen.
