Steve Aoki is an American DJ and producer, born in 1977, who plays electro house and festival-focused electronic dance music. He founded the Dim Mak label and is known for the albums Wonderland and the Neon Future series, as well as tracks including “Boneless,” his remix of Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” and “Just Hold On” with Louis Tomlinson. The 2013 Aokify America tour paired his headline DJ sets with support from Borgore and Waka Flocka Flame. In 2015, the Neon Future Experience tour reached Madison Square Garden in New York, where he played his first headlining show at the arena. A Steve Aoki show is a DJ set, and throwing sheet cakes into the audience has become a documented signature of his performances. He has also ridden an inflatable raft over the crowd during sets. Steve Aoki has played multiple editions of Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Tomorrowland in Boom. He has also performed repeatedly at Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
