Steve Earle is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer, born in 1955 in Virginia and raised in Texas. His music draws on country, folk and rock, and he is known for songs including “Guitar Town,” “Copperhead Road” and “Galway Girl,” as well as albums such as I Feel Alright and El Corazón. The 1990 tour behind The Hard Way was documented on the live album Shut Up and Die Like an Aviator. In 2005, he performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival, and that concert was later released as Live at Montreux 2005. He toured with the Dukes behind So You Wannabe an Outlaw in 2017, followed in 2019 by shows built around Guy, his album of Guy Clark songs.
Chris Pierce is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles whose music draws on blues, soul and Americana. His best-known work includes the album American Silence and “We Can Always Come Back to This,” heard in the television series This Is Us. He also records with Sunny War as War & Pierce. Chris Pierce has opened concerts for B.B. King, Al Green and Seal. In 2023, he performed solo opening sets as the special guest on Neil Young’s Coastal Tour.
