Steve Hogarth in Sydney

Steve Hogarth is an English singer, songwriter and musician, born in Kendal in 1959 and best known as the lead vocalist of Marillion since 1989. He joined the band for Seasons End and has sung on albums including Brave, Afraid of Sunlight and Marbles. His work outside Marillion includes the solo album Ice Cream Genius and recordings with keyboardist Richard Barbieri. After joining Marillion, he toured behind Seasons End and became the focal point of the band’s concerts, including its recurring Marillion Weekend events. Those multi-night gatherings have featured complete-album performances and different set lists on successive evenings. His own h Natural concerts use a more intimate format built around voice, piano, songs and readings from his diaries, presented under the name h Natural.
