Stick Men in Santa Cruz

Stick Men are an American progressive rock trio formed in 2007 by bassist and Chapman Stick player Tony Levin. The longtime lineup also features drummer Pat Mastelotto and touch guitarist Markus Reuter, combining three musicians closely associated with King Crimson. Their catalogue includes the albums Soup, Deep and Prog Noir. In 2012, Stick Men joined the Adrian Belew Power Trio as the Crimson ProjeKCt and opened for Dream Theater on a North American leg of the A Dramatic Turn of Events Tour. The trio subsequently maintained its own club and theatre schedule and has also performed aboard Cruise to the Edge. Concerts are built around Chapman Stick, touch guitar and acoustic and electronic percussion. Much of their live work takes place in the United States, while international tours have also taken the trio to Japan and Germany.
