STU48 in Yamaguchi

STU48 is a Japanese idol group formed in 2017 as a sister act to AKB48, representing the seven prefectures around the Seto Inland Sea. Its J-pop catalogue began with the debut single “Kurayami” and includes “Kaze wo Matsu” and “Mubou na Yume wa Sameru Koto ga Nai.” The group opened its floating theatre, STU48-go, in 2019 and performed aboard the ship at ports around the Setouchi region. In January 2021, STU48 held its first solo concert at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.
