Sugaray Rayford in Safety Harbor

Sugaray Rayford is an American soul-blues singer and songwriter, born in 1969 in Smith County, Texas. His music draws on electric blues, soul and funk, and his solo catalogue includes The World That We Live In, Somebody Save Me and In Too Deep. Somebody Save Me received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album. He joined the Los Angeles blues ensemble The Mannish Boys as lead singer in 2011 and toured with the group before concentrating on his solo work. He has since toured under his own name with a full band, playing blues clubs, theatres and festivals in the United States and Europe. His festival appearances have taken him to Switzerland for the Lucerne Blues Festival and to Las Vegas for the Big Blues Bender.
