Artist
Sumika is a Japanese rock band formed in Kawasaki in 2013. Its melodic pop-rock catalog includes the songs “Lovers,” “Fiction” and “Negai,” while “Fiction” also became known as the opening theme for the anime series Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku. The albums Familia and Chime established the group’s bright, song-focused style. The 2019 Chime release tour brought Sumika to arenas including Yokohama Arena. In 2023, the band celebrated its tenth anniversary through the Ten to Ten project and staged the Ten to Ten to 10 concert at Yokohama Stadium.
