About Sun June
Sun June is an American indie-pop band formed in Austin in 2016 by Laura Colwell and Stephen Salisbury. Dream-pop textures and Colwell’s restrained vocals run through the albums Years, Somewhere and Bad Dream Jaguar, as well as songs including “Young” and “Everything I Had.”
NPR documented Sun June in a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, where the group performed as a full band. The group also toured clubs in the United States and Europe around its second and third albums, using a lineup led by Laura Colwell’s vocals and Stephen Salisbury’s guitar.
