About Sundy Best
Sundy Best is an American country duo from Prestonsburg, Kentucky, formed by singer and guitarist Nick Jamerson and percussionist Kris Bentley. Their music draws on Appalachian country, bluegrass and rock, and their best-known recordings include “Painted Blue,” “Home” and the albums Bring Up the Sun and Salvation City.
In 2022, Sundy Best returned after several years apart for reunion concerts at The Burl in Lexington. Their live format centers on Nick Jamerson’s vocals and acoustic guitar and Kris Bentley’s rhythm on cajón.
