Sungazer in Los Angeles

Sungazer is an American duo formed in Brooklyn by bassist Adam Neely and drummer Shawn Crowder in 2014. They play electronic jazz fusion built around intricate rhythms, synthesizers and improvisation, and are known for tracks including “Threshold” and “Drunk,” as well as the releases Perihelion and Against the Fall of Night. Sungazer joined guitarist Plini on a North American tour, performing in clubs and theatres with Neely on bass, Crowder on drums, and additional keyboards, saxophone and electronics. They have also headlined European clubs, including the Jazz Cafe in London.
