sunn O))) in Louisville

sunn O))) is an American drone-metal group formed in Seattle in 1998. Its music is built on sustained, down-tuned guitar tones and has been documented on albums including Black One, Monoliths & Dimensions and Life Metal. In 2007, sunn O))) performed inside Bergen Cathedral, and the concert was released as the live album Dømkirke. The group later mounted the Life Metal tour in 2019, presenting its long-form pieces in theatres and at festivals. The concert format centers on heavily amplified electric guitars, extended low-frequency drones, hooded robes and dense stage fog. At the center of this format are Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson.

Lisa Bella Donna is an American musician and composer who performs on analogue and modular synthesizers. Her work has been categorized as ambient and krautrock. She released her first solo work in 1994 and issued ten full-length albums in 2019, describing her method as instant composition shaped by live performance. A four-way split release with Boris, Relaxer and Crypt City was followed by a short tour of Japan in 2019. She has performed live analogue and modular-synthesizer sets at Eternal Sunrise in Los Angeles and Wonderment in Victoria.
