Susan Werner in Groton

Susan Werner is an American singer-songwriter, pianist and guitarist, born in 1965 and raised on a farm near Manchester, Iowa. Classically trained as a singer, she writes across contemporary folk, jazz and cabaret. Her catalog includes the albums Last of the Good Straight Girls, Time Between Trains, I Can’t Be New and The Gospel Truth, as well as the song “May I Suggest.” Susan Werner has toured the American folk circuit for decades, performing in listening rooms, theatres and performing-arts centers on piano and acoustic guitar. Her festival appearances include the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Kerrville Folk Festival and the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.
