SVDDEN DEATH is the stage name of American electronic producer and DJ Danny Howland. He makes heavy dubstep shaped by riddim rhythms and horror-themed sound design, and is known for “Behemoth,” the VOYD project and releases including VOYD Vol. II. In 2021, he staged Valley of Darkness at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, placing his masked live concept at the center of a curated bass-music event. A year later, he launched Summoning of the Eclipse at The Caverns in Tennessee. The 2024 MELLODEATH tour then paired him with Marshmello for a run of joint sets.
