Swim Deep in Nottingham

Swim Deep are a British indie-pop band formed in Birmingham in 2011 and fronted by singer and guitarist Austin Williams. Their debut album, Where the Heaven Are We, introduced songs including “King City,” “Honey” and “She Changes the Weather”; later records include Mothers and Emerald Classics. In 2013, Swim Deep performed at Glastonbury Festival and appeared at Reading and Leeds during the touring cycle for their debut. Their concerts present the group as a full band, drawing on the guitar pop of their early work and the more psychedelic, electronic sound of Mothers. In London they have played the club venue Heaven, while hometown shows in Birmingham have taken them to the O2 Institute.
