Artist
Swirlies are an American indie rock band formed in Boston in 1990. Their music draws on shoegaze, noise pop and lo-fi experimentation, heard on songs such as “Bell” and “Pancake” and on the albums Blonder Tongue Audio Baton and They Spent Their Wild Youthful Days in the Glittering World of the Salons. Swirlies undertook a North American tour in 2013, part of the intermittent live activity that followed their initial 1990s run. Their later festival appearances included Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
